Great seafood. This place has been open a few weeks. My dad said he read about it so off we went to check it out. They seem to be getting it together. Mom and son running the place, service a little slow. However the food was worth the wait. Fried shrimp was the bomb, don't eat fried foods to often anymore, so this was a treat.

Randomly stopped into Ventura’s Seafood on Hwy 6 @ West Rd. Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The fish and shrimp were fresh and crispy. Fries were crunchy and golden crispy. Hush puppies were bomb as well. Served with shrimp sauce, tartar, and ketchup. They even had Mexican Coke! It’s a small cozy place that could use some more business. Check it out!

I recently tried the lunch special- shrimp and onion rings. It was amazing! The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot-on. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The shrimp was deliciously crispy, and the onion rings were not greasy—crispy and full of flavor. It’s clear the owner puts a lot of love into her cooking. I definitely will be returning to try the grilled fish.

Checked out Ventura's because they are literally walking distance from our house so we walked! It's a Mom & Pop type place and there was one busy gentleman who was running the entire front of house by himself, including phone orders which were coming in regularly. So with that in mind, we were fine waiting a bit for our food. And when it came, we were very pleased. Hubby got a solid piece of blackened redfish with a delicious seafood topping. He opted for double veggies for his sides. I got the Chicken Pasta Alfredo. Pix doesn't show but it had a good amount of flavorful blackened chicken - sauce had a Cajun kick too. Took 1/2 to go and that dish was only $8.50! Only bottled water and sodas but BYOB for now!

Today was my first time here and I am impressed with the quality of the food ! I ordered a salmon and the flavor was exquisite, super fresh and perfectly cooked. The sides broccoli and red beans were super tasty as well , the beens had actually a lot of beens and bacon , not only juice as other places , while the broccoli was really fresh. I definitely recommend this place and I will come back soon !

Ventura’s Seafood offers a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of fried, grilled and blackened fish, along with boiled crawfish. We had the crawfish, the blackened mahi and the blackened salmon. Every dish was flavorful. The blackened fish came with a choice of two sides. I got the red beans and mashed potatoes. We left clean plates. The prices were reasonable. Give them a try. I’ll be back!

Recently ordered Ventura’s seafood for takeout, the meals were delicious both times . The first time I got the shrimp and rice and veggies, second time I got the tilapia :) the rice and veggies are perfectly cooked. The rice has perfect softness and tenderness to them and the taste is on point. They add some type of creamy sauce to the veggies that isn’t overpowering but it compliments the veggies very well, almost like a sweet cream sauce? I really like this place! Food is excellent - the only thing I don’t like is they do not offer free water for their customers!! All of their drinks are in a can or a bottle so if you buy a bottle of water and you drink it before you finish your meal, you have to BUY another bottle of water if you’re still thirsty. I’ve never seen this before and this alone makes me not want to come back. Good food, cozy atmosphere otherwise. But be prepared to pay for each and every drink - even water if you dine in.
